Release Day Special: Tied Desire by Megan Slayer

Today I have the fabulous Megan Slayer here with her brand-spanking (no pun!) - new release Tied Desires, Book one in the Club Desire - Series. The tags alone (M/M, Anal Sex, Toys, Spanking, BDSM) make me itch to read it, but before I let you look at the blurb, let's see what Megan herself as to say about her book and more:

The business ones

Please give us a short introduction about yourself
I’m short, have blue hair and laugh a tad too loud for my own good. Curiosity killed the cat and probably will do me in, too.

What genre(s) do you write in and why?
Contemporary, paranormal and LGBT erotic romance. Why? The characters told me to. I know, it’s not the most academic answer, but it’s the truth.

Tell us about your latest release
Tied Desire is the first in the Club Desire series over at Resplendence Publishing.
Get your rocks off however you want at Club Desire. We’re not easy and we’re not free, but we are discreet. Find your fantasy in the club.

Hee hee. It’s a BDSM club but all of the characters in the series are gay. They have plenty of fun and it’s all hot. Tied Desire features Master Zane and Ford, a race truck driver. Ford goes to Club Desire to soothe his wounded soul after his friend and sometimes lover passes. What happens next is sure to melt the screen.

Do you need a special setting to write in or do you have a ceremony to get you in the mood? What does it look like?
Nope. I write whenever I can get the ten seconds to put pen to page or fingers to keyboard. Sometimes I listen to specific playlists to get in the mood. I’ve been on an Evans Blue kick. I also like to listen to the Avengers movie. I tend to write while the movie is playing so I’m not actually watching it. Just listening. I write while on the couch, on my bed, at my desk and wherever I can tote my notebook. J

Describe your feelings when you learnt that your first book was accepted for publication
Oh my goodness. I screamed. Jumped up and down. My heart raced and I about passed out. I couldn’t believe something I’d written was going to go out to the masses. Then I worried about what readers would say. It was exciting and scary as hell. But I keep putting stuff out because I can’t NOT write.

The nosy ones

How much of the real “you” is in your stories?
A lot of me is in my stories. I tend to write dark haired characters. As my alter ego, I wrote a character with blue hair...oddly enough like me. My characters tend to have a healthy dose of fear in them as well. They don’t like to let other people down and that’s very much me.

What’s the silliest error in a book you’ve submitted?
I’ve probably done sillier, but, “she took his face tot he back of her throat”

Yes, I subbed with tot he instead of to the and face instead of cock. Oy...

Favourite comfort food?
I don’t know that it’s a comfort food per regulations, but there’s a little place about twenty or so miles from where I live where they sell cheese and such that’s all home made. I could go there and get tons of the home made chocolates. That’s my comfort food – Grandpa’s Cheese Barn Chocolate.

A person you admire
My grandmother. She has dementia and Alzheimer’s, but she doesn’t let the diseases get her down. She might tell the same story fifteen times in the same visit, but she’s always chipper and happy. Always smiling. I’m not sure she understands what’s wrong with her, but she doesn’t let it get her down.

If you could ask any person in the world one question of your choice, who would it be and what would you ask them?
My grandmother on my mother’s side. I’d ask her why she made some of the decisions she made and why she never tried to meet us kids.

The fast ones

Favourite colour? blue

Favourite pet? Cats – the black and white cat, Captain America.

Dog or cat? cats

Coffee or tea? Neither. I never acquired the taste for either.

Quickie or candles? Both. I like it hot and quick with a lot of fire.

Hunky or chunky? Hunky.

Suit & tie or jeans & boots? Jeans and boots. I want him to do work and look good doing it.

Walk in the park or chat over cocktails? A walk in the park and then chatting over cocktails...then smexin’.

Ohhh... that sounds good. Thank you for the interview, Megan, and now let's visit Club Desire...

Get your rocks off however you want at Club Desire. We’re not easy and we’re not free, but we are discreet. Find your fantasy in the club.

Ford Gehrig likes everything hard—his racing and his sex life. His career driving stock trucks is riding high. He’s a top performing rookie. Club Desire fulfills his needs for pain in his pleasure. But even a strong man has his breaking point. His wounds run deep and won’t be easy to overcome. Will the club be his salvation or his downfall?

Master Zane knows the rough side of the club well. He’s been at Desire longer than many of the Doms. Few subs turn his head like Ford. He wants the hot blond on his table, against his cross and in his bed. Nothing at the club comes easily, but Zane’s not one to give up. Will he be able to pierce the protective walls around Ford’s heart, or will his own past be the barrier he can’t destroy?

Only time, some cuffs and a few spankings will tell if this tied desire is meant to last.

Author bio:
When she's not writing the stories in her head, Megan Slayer can be found luxuriating in her hot tub with her two vampire Cabana boys, Luke and Jeremy. She has the tendency to run a tad too far with her muse, so she has to hide in the head of her alter ego, but the boys don't seem to mind.

When she’s not obsessing over her whip collection, she can be found picking up her kidlet from school. She enjoys writing in all genres, but writing about men in love suits her fancy best. The cabana boys are willing to serve, unless she needs them. She always needs them. So be nice to Javier or he will bite--on command.

She also masquerades under the name Wendi Zwaduk and is published through Changeling Press, Decadent Publishing , Liquid Silver Books, MLR Press, Resplendence Publishing, and Total-E-Bound Publishing.
